Pakistan to participate in World Snooker Championship
KARACHI: Reigning national champion Muhammad Sajjad and Muhammad Asif will represent Pakistan in the IBSF World Snooker Championship to be held in Hyderabad (India) from November 14 to 29. A spokesman for the Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) said Sunday that the national federation had been given green signal by the federal sports ministry to send the team to India. Due to strained relations between Pakistan and India, there were some doubts about Pakistan’s participation in the global event but after clearance from the Pakistan Government the snooker team will take part in the event.
