Pakistan to play CT warm-up match today


JOHANNESBURG: In preparation of the Champions Trophy, Pakistan cricket team will play their warm-up match against Sri Lanka while hosts South Africa will face the West Indies here today.

Process of teams arrival continues here for the participation in the mega event.

Johannesburg has become the centre of attraction for all people these days as the participating teams have begun to arrive here and the process of press conferences continues besides practice sessions.

While talking with media ahead of the warm-up match against Pakistan, Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara said that his team has recently displayed very good performance due to which he is hopeful of success in the Champions Trophy.

Captain of hosts team, Graeme Smith and the West Indian captain, Floyd Reifer are also determined for achieving success before the warm-up match.

Meanwhile, New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori also desirous of making a come back with good performance in the Champions Trophy.
